Kolka finished her second obedience class - Obedience II - on sunny day last weekend from Gallery
There were total of 13 dogs at this course, one German Shepard, two Vizlas, six Labradors, one Icelandic Sheepdog and two mixed breeds.
The test was fun and was divided into these assignments:
- Jump over obsticle, sit down and wait for owner.
- Jump over wall, sit down and wait. Jump back over on command.
- Send dog to a pole and command to sit.
- Walk up ladder and wait.
- Stop while waking and stand still.
- Heel while walking a predetermined route, sit, lie, wait and heel on the route.
- Lie down and stay with other dogs for 3 minutes.
Kolka got all the assignement 100% except the wall (jumped back before I gave her the command) and the Pole (came back once before sitting down at the pole). She was one of very few that could do the ladder without trouble.

Icelandic Kennel Club's international spring show was over one week ago. Kolka participated with good results.
Kolka was best of breed, got CAC, got a CACIB and was BIG4 in group 1 with a good critique from Claudio De Giuliani:
„Excellent type + size. Excellent expression. Right set ears. Excellent body porportion. Strong in topline. Right chest. Right compact feet. Little narrow in rear movement. Right coat + colour.“
Kolka got her second CACIB and her third CAC but is to young to be Icelandic Champion. She has to wait until the summer show in june when she'll be two years old.
